Newnan High School Building built in 1952
This ornament is an artistic rendering of the "new" Newnan High School building that opened at 190 LaGrange Street in 1952. Over the decades, tens of thousands of high schoolers made their way through its halls and classrooms during their transition from childhood to young adults.
Tornado in 2021
On March 25, 2021 an EF-4 tornado destroyed the the historic Main building and multiple other buildings including the band room, which was lost along with all of its contents. In 2022, demolition of buildings damaged in the tornado began, and construction of the replacement buildings will begin soon after.

It was designed and created by a self-proclaimed music obsessed, lifelong marching band nerd, who is very excited to donate 50% of the sales price of each of these ornaments sold to a local marching band. Comes ready to hang with the included cord.
